BUP-DAP, which stands for the Buprenorphine Drug Assistance Program, is a SOR-funded program designed to increase access to medications that treat Opioid Use Disorder (OUD). Enrolling in this program will allow individuals with OUD who are uninsured and underinsured to have access to vital medications while they are waiting to get enrolled in DC Medicaid or another form of health insurance.
If you, or a loved one, do not have insurance or if your insurance does not cover the medication you need to treat your condition, please reach out to your doctor to sign up for BUP-DAP.

- Buprenorphine /Naloxone MIS 8-2MG
- Vivitrol Injection 380mg (Naltrexone)
- Suboxone MIS 8-2mg
- Naloxone spray (Narcan Intranasal)
UPDATE
BUP-DAP prescriptions are no longer being filled by 35K pharmacy. We are now offering two options to fill prescriptions if approved for this program: 1. Mary’s Center and 2. Unity Healthcare. The registration link will allow you to select your preferred pharmacy.
How to utilize BUP-DAP
- Visit your doctor to determine if this treatment is right for you.
a. Obtain a valid prescription to utilize BUP-DAP benefits. - Have your doctor or case manager complete the following application for you to be considered for the program: SOR Database - Add FY26 BUPDAP Application
- If approved for BUP-DAP, you and your case manager will receive a BUP-DAP Enrollee ID Card.
- Go to the preferred pharmacy selected in the application to obtain your medication.

HOLIDAY SCHEDULE
BUP DAP requests are processed regularly; however, review of applications may be delayed if the DC Government is closed. Foreseeable closures due to holidays are detailed online and can be found by clicking Holiday Schedules | DCHR. On occasion, additional closures may occur not documented in the holiday schedule. Requests will be processed once the DC Government reopens.

The MyRides program provides free rideshares to District residents with an opioid use disorder (OUD) or stimulant use disorder (STUD) to get them initially engaged or re-engaged with treatment and recovery support services (RSS). Rides can be to and from substance use disorder (SUD) treatment or RSS.
